Exercise With Oxygen Therapy (EWOT)
EWOT:
The purpose of Exercise With Oxygen Therapy (EWOT) is to provide the body with higher concentrations of oxygen than it normally receives. The air we breathe is about 21% oxygen, but the oxygen concentrator can provide closer to 95% concentration. The body then uses the higher levels of oxygen to supply cells with energy so it can carry out basic functions. Exercising during the therapy, increases the circulation and absorption of the oxygen into the cells. By increasing oxygen systemically throughout the body, recovery, repair, endurance and stamina is all enhanced.
Top Benefits of EWOT

1. Improves Mitochondrial Function:
Mitochondria are the energy producers of the body and the most important resource to produce ATP is oxygen. By providing the cells with oxygen, the mitochondria can produce more ATP faster and easier.
2. Reduces Metabolic Disease
By providing higher levels of oxygen to the body, the cells before less acidic and more alkaline. This will reduce cell damage and increase cellular repair throughout all organs and tissues
3. Anti-Cancer Benefits
Higher concentrations of oxygen will make the body more aerobic. Cancer thrives in anaerobic conditions when oxygen concentrations are low. By providing high levels of oxygen, cancer cells are inhibited and even reduced by high levels of oxygen.
4. Improves Cognitive Health
The brain needs a constant supply of oxygen to work properly. Higher levels of oxygen in the brain improve cognitive functioning, including information processing, decision making, memory, and concentration.
5. Improves Athletic Performance and Muscle Recovery
ATP is the body's source of energy, which is produced with the help of oxygen. When an athlete has greater levels of ATP, it improves their stamina, strength and endurance. When the body runs out of energy or oxygen to generate energy, it creates lactic acid. Lactic acid build-up leads to fatigue. It can also cause muscle pain or cramping. Higher oxygen levels reduce fatigue and boost the recovery rate of muscles after intense exercise.

6. Improves Circulation
Fatigue, cramps, cold hands and feet, or difficulty concentrating are all symptoms of poor circulation. Circulation is important for maintaining normal functioning in the body. Oxygen therapy strengthens the blood flow and improves circulation.

7. Improves Immune Function
As the body's blood circulation improves, so does the immune system. Circulation is necessary for supplying the body with blood. Blood transports essential nutrients as well as white blood cells and platelets.
