Dr. Zachary Moran

Naturopathic Doctor

Dr. Zach grew up in Columbia, Connecticut. After a childhood of outdoor activities and competitive sports, he spent 5 years on the NCAA Division I wrestling team at Sacred Heart University, becoming an NCAA All-Ivy League Athlete, and majoring in Biology and Exercise Science. Post-graduation, he became a head coach at a crossfit gym where he competed in the Crossfit Games Regionals for four consecutive years. He is still an exercise enthusiast but loves to spend time outdoors, hiking and camping with his wife Erica, sons Leo and Lincoln and dog Milton.


Dr. Zachary Moran is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor. He focuses on collaboration with each patient to meet their individual needs because he believes that healing is a combined effort with the patient. He is passionate about health optimization and performance. His goal is to identify and treat the root cause of illness, bringing about true recovery and healing for each of his patients.


With a background in health and fitness, Dr. Moran has spent years researching and discovering strategies to reach the highest levels of health and performance as part of his own personal journey, and to help others. He provides a comprehensive and whole-person approach to achieving peak health through dietary interventions, lifestyle modifications, hormone optimization, and supplementation for each patient.


Educational Background

Dr. Moran attended Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT where he obtained bachelor’s degrees in Biology and Exercise Physiology/Nutrition and a minor in Chemistry. He became a certified Emergency Medicine Technician (EMT) and a certified Personal Trainer prior to attending Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine (SCNM) in Tempe Arizona. He completed a 4-year doctorate in naturopathic medicine where he received highest honors, specializing in Regenerative Medicine and Pain Management. After graduation, Dr. Moran completed a CNME certified residency studying complex chronic disease and chronic infections in Portsmouth, NH.
